Former Head of State Babangida is dead ?

Contrary to rumours about the death of former Nigerian Head of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, popularly called IBB, he is not dead, his son has said.

According to Muhammed, the former leader is sick but still alive.

Speaking about his father’s ill health, Muhammed said it’s nothing new that IBB has radiculopathy.

He added that Mr. Babangida has just gone through a corrective surgery and he’s recuperating at the moment.

The rumour about his ill health went viral last week when he was helped out of the venue of the valedictory dinner for former Niger state chief judge, Justice Fati Lami Abubakar, before the end of the event.
