PHOTOS : Popular Phone Market Saint Micheal's Aba, Faces demolition

Saint Micheal's road, popular know as Phone and other electrical appliances hub is facing demolition by the Abia State Government, having failed so far to make the traders to relocate the market to Aba Mega Mall.

Agencies who led the demolition are;  “Aba Urban Renewal (A.U.R)” ably led by Dr. Engr. Solomon Ogunji in conjunction with ‘Abia State Market Development Committee (ASMDC)’ also led by Hon. Solomon Nwaigwe.

Addressing the newsmen, Engineer Solomon said; this is in line with the traders’ refusal so far to relocate their business to ‘Aba Mega Mall’ sited at Osisioma where Abia State Government have constructed an International standard trading complex for them.

It will be recalled that Aba Mega Mall has been commissioned by the immediate past governor, who is now a Senator representing Abia Central, Senator T A Orji.

Aba Mega Mall in its capacity will occupy every trader coming from the Saint Micheal's market.
